Our Work
As well as educational and public awarness initiatives, the Loraine Michaelis Foundation is currently supporting research into lobular breast cancer and the consequenes of exposure to synthetic jet engine oil additives and decomposition products. Two issues which touched our founders Tristan and Susan.
01
Lobular Moon Shot Project
Led by Professor Rob Clarke at the Manchester Breast Centre (MBC), we are supporting the early stages of a research project that will explore the basic biology of lobular breast cancer. Something that remains an unmet clinical need.
02
Engine oil additive research
We are supporting research into the consequences of exposure to synthetic jet engine oil additives and their decomposition products.

03
Chemical education
We are preparing an educational package to highlight and raise more awareness of exposure chemicals in the workplace.
04
Lecture
We support lectures on the effects of chemical exposures in the work place and environment.
